Snoring Therapy

Sleep Apnea is very common and affects millions of Americans.  Untreated sleep apnea can cause or is associated with the following:

  • High Blood Pressure
  • Weight Gain
  • Headaches
  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Heart Failure
  • Irregular Heartbeat
  • Stroke
  • Diabetes
  • Impotence
  • Memory Problems
  • Limited Attention

OSA or Obstructive Sleep Apnea is the most common type of sleep apnea.

OAT or Oral Appliance Therapy can be very effective for patients who suffer from mild to moderate sleep apnea.  OAT may be used for patients who have severe sleep apnea but are unable to tolerate a CPAP.

Patients must be diagnosed by a physician for sleep apnea before an oral appliance can be prescribed to the patient.
